The postpartum period is a transformation from the person you were to the person you are now. Postpartum doula care is about honoring you as a new parent. It’s about nourishing and loving and supporting you as you transition into parenthood. Each session is tailored to the individual needs of your family.
Services include: Newborn feeding support, newborn care, sibling care, discussing postpartum depression & breastfeeding, holding the baby while you shower or eat a meal, and empowering you and your choices as a parents. Ideally we meet before your baby is born to discuss hopes and fears about becoming a parent, support networks, identity shifts, what you’ll need to care for your postpartum body, mental health needs and any other concerns you might have.

Up to 4 hours of detailed education. We'll discuss labor interventions, birth preferences, informed decision making in stressful times. We will explore mindfulness & relaxation, the early postpartum period and basic newborn care. We will discuss labor physiology and hormones and we will explore the fears and anxieties you may experience. We will talk about coping with labor and identify helpful communication tools. This class will be individualized to meet your specific needs.
Everything you need to know about how to approach the fourth trimester, in the privacy of your own home. A small travel fee will be charged depending on where you live.

All fees subject to HI General Excise Tax (4.712 %). Payment is required to reserve your spot. Cancellation policy: One week notice needed for a full refund, 3 days notice = 50% refund. No refund for 2 days or less notice of cancellation.
