Aloha, I’m Zoe. I am a mother of two little ones, childbirth educator, RN, doula and advocate. I have been a nurse in New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Maui and the Big Island with more than 15 years of experience. I’ve worked in the Labor & Delivery, ER, Long Term Care and most recently the Intensive Care Unit at North Hawaii. I am honored to have helped over 800 mamas through their labor experience during my years as an L&D nurse and doula.
I’ve always felt my life is meant to give to others. My passion for birth work began when I became a doula with the International Center for Traditional Childbearing. I got involved with an organization called the Birth Attendants, providing pregnancy support to incarcerated women in Washington State. It was there I witnessed the true strength of women and was inspired to become a labor nurse.
I believe supporting women throughout their pregnancies, births and thereafter can change the world. Having the knowledge to make informed decisions about your body and your birth matters. I am enthusiastic about education and I know that educated parents feel better about their birth experiences. I offer practical and evidenced-based approaches to birth in my group and private sessions.
I am happiest when I am playing with my two wild little babies in nature. Friends, sunshine, cooking, yoga and playing in the ocean feed my soul. I'm excited to meet you!
